New underground warehouse for Baldacchino Holdings Ltd.

On behalf of the client Baldacchino Holdings Ltd, Bertazzon will design & build a new underground warehouse with special steel beams.
The beams, specially designed for this intervention, were designed to support precast hollowcore concrete panels, simultaneously providing high structural performance and space optimization.

Thanks to our solutions:
- it was possible to reduce the overall thickness of the floors, while maintaining full load-bearing capacity;
- increase the free span between columns, improving the functionality and flexibility of the rooms;

- limit the depth of excavations, resulting in reduced earth-moving costs and reduced impact on the surrounding environment;
- speed up construction time through the use of prefabricated components that are precise and easy to install.
