Bertazzon, in a joint venture with a partner specializing in renewable energy, was contracted directly by MIA (Malta International Airport) to design, build and install a 750-kwp photovoltaic system.
The metal support structures and the system itself were installed on the top floor of the new parking lot serving Malta Airport with the dual purpose of providing space for renewable energy and providing shelter from the sun for the airport staff cars for which the top floor is reserved.
