Total weight: 300,000 Kg

Implementation period: 2014

The overpass in question, with an arched type, is an overpass over the A22 highway and was commissioned by Autostrade del Brennero through competitive bidding. The deck consists of main and secondary beams with a double-T section that are planed to be cooperating with the concrete slab. The two arches are made from tubes of large diameter circular cross section. The connection between arch and deck is provided by a series of rope pendants. Geometrically, the bridge has the distinction of having a very low arch.

An additional peculiarity is the fact that, although the part is fully welded, the client chose to hot-dip galvanize all components and then locally intervene with a special zinc-rich paint to restore corrosion protection on the welded joints on site; the whole thing is also painted with a three-coat cycle. To complete the work, all railings were made both above the deck and on the access ramps, consisting mainly of HEA uprights and curtain wall panels made of perforated folded sheet metal.
